A rare opportunity to visit a tea master's private tearoom and a real Geisha house to enjoy the Kanazawa cultural experiences.The event offering both a tea ceremony experience and a Geisha performance will be held at a tea master's private tearoom and a real teahouse where Geisha belong to, both located in Nishi Chaya-gai Geisha district.
The event starts with a tea ceremony experience at a tea master’s private tearoom, then walk to the next venue, a teahouse which usually does not accept first time visitors without an introduction by their regular customers.
Would you like to appreciate the traditions rooted in Kanazawa by immersing yourself in the exquisite environments?

Guideline
Please dress not too casual, such as a T-shirt and jeans.
It is important to show respect to the venue and Geisha.
Any food or drink items must not be brought into the venue.
Entering the venue with bare feet is not allowed to protect the tatami mat floors. Socks must be worn.
If you are wearing stockings, please wear socks over them.
Photo taking by mobile phones, smart phones or small cameras is allowed.
Movie recording during the performance is prohibited.
