About the event

Geisha Evenings® in Kanazawa

Since 2014, the event has been a popular evening entertainment in Kanazawa in spring (March, April)

and autumn (October and November) at a Kaikaro teahouse, which is the largest teahouse in Kanazawa.

The event is led by a landlady of Kaikaro, aka Lady Baba, who provides informative, entertaining speeches

on the teahouse and Geisha culture entirely in English.

The large venue, which is designated as a Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings in Japan,
